Empire Food Catering Pte Ltd. This Terms & Conditions applies to the Empire Food Catering Pte Ltd Web
Site/Service and does not apply to the content of third parties.
The Empire Food Catering Pte Ltd Web Site/Service (hereinafter known as “Service”) is offered to you
hereinafter know as (“Customer”) conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms,
conditions, and notices contained herein. Your use of the Empire Food Catering Pte Ltd Web Site/Service
constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.
A. TINGKAT ORDER’S TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All our food are low in cholesterol, low in salt, uses pure vegetable oil and No MSG
B. TINGKAT SERVICE
We provide Tingkat lunch and dinner service from Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays.
C. CONDOMINIUM SURCHARGE
Due to condominium rules & regulations, we will apply additional $17 charges for condominium
customers. This surcharge is waived if food is delivered to concierge or guard house.
D. PAYMENT
a. Bank Transfer or Cheque payments must be made on the start day of every new order. For
cheque payments, please make cheque payable to “Empire Food Catering Pte Ltd“.
For Bank Transfer, upon confirmation of the order with our sales representative, a payment
instruction with the bank account details will be sent to you.
b. Administrative fee of $20.00 will be levied for any dishonoured cheque received.
c. All payments must be made on the first day of service. We reserve the rights to terminate
the service if payment is not received within the first 3 days commencement of meal
delivery. Early termination of the service will be chargeable at:
i. Number of days meals are consumed and;
ii. $17.00 early termination charge.
E. REPLACEMENT OF MEAL
The customer must notify Empire Catering Pte Ltd at least 1 working day in advance (before 2pm for
lunch and 5pm for dinner) should he/she decides not to have the meal delivered on the stipulated
day/date. Replacement of meal will be given for the skipped meal/s. It will be added in the next
cycle/month. In the event of dispute/s, our company reserves the right to have the final say on the
number of days/meals consumed based on our records.
F. TERMINATION OF ORDER
The customer must notify Empire Food Catering Pte Ltd by phone/email minimum 3 working days before
the END date of the order. A new cycle of 20 days term will be renewed and imposed upon if we do
not receive any cancellation or termination notice 3 workings days before the date of expiry.
G. CANCELLATION FOR CONFIRMED ORDER
No refund will be made should the customer cancel the service within or before the 20-meals
cycle/order. No refund will be given for early cancellation or termination of order before the date of
expiry. In the event where the customer has yet to make payments, early termination of the course
will be chargeable at $17 admin charge
H. TIFFIN CARRIER RESPONSIBILITIES
a. The Tingkat (tiffin carrier) is the property of our Company. The customer is responsible for
the safekeeping of the Tingkat. Our stainless steel container is meant for the convenience of
carrying the foods and not recommended for heating or cooking purposes. Our containers
will get damaged if placed under direct fire, which is beyond washable. We reserve the right
to claim for the replacement costs of $27 if any one of the compartments is stained or
dented due to the mishandling by our customers.
b. During delivery of Tingkat orders, tiffin carriers will be hung on hooks outside your door.
Kindly note that minimal spillage might be unavoidable.
c. Tiffin carriers will have to be washed after eating. Surcharge of $7 will be levied for
replacement of dirty tiffin carriers with microwaveable containers
d. On the last day of your Tingkat cycle, microwaveable containers will be given instead of tiffin
carriers. Surcharge of $27 will be imposed if existing tiffin carrier is not returned on the last
day of your Tingkat cycle.
I. ADVICE
Food is best consumed before 1.30pm for lunch, and before 7.30pm for dinner. Customers are
advised to store the food in the refrigerator upon receiving the food, and heat up via 2~3 minutes of
high heat in the microwave, or 11~15 minutes of steaming prior to consuming the food, for hygiene
reasons.
